Before you know it, it will be time to unpack the holiday decorations and create a festive feel all around the house. One of the fun traditions we enjoy at my house during the holiday season is an ornament exchange. Each family member pulls a name, and they have to find a unique ornament for that person. It becomes an exciting challenge, to find just the right one, based on that person’s interests or hobbies! Everyone takes pride in “outdoing” the others!
At PersonalizationMall.com, we offer a huge selection of exclusive personalized Christmas ornaments for all ages and interests! From sophisticated glass or silver ornaments to vibrant full color designs, there are ornaments for every style and interest. For the sportsman on your list to the shop-a-holic, we have almost every theme covered! Then add names, a special message or even photos to create one of a kind personalized Christmas ornaments that will be treasured for years.
Whether it’s for an ornament exchange or to commemorate important milestones, like a new baby or newlyweds, personalized Christmas ornaments make great gifts, or to decorate your own tree! You can even start a family tradition of creating a new ornament to celebrate each year! One of our most popular new ornaments for 2009 is our Family Tree© Engraved Glass Ornament, personalized with each member’s name, along with any year. A great gift idea for mom or any holiday party hostess!
And this week only, save on our entire collection of 2009 Personalized Ornaments! Let the holiday memories begin!
We all have our favorite places… to eat, shop, visit… and when we find a place we love, we want to share it with everyone else! Recently we added a new “ratings and reviews” feature to our website, to let our customers share their opinions on their recent gift purchases.
As a frequent online shopper, I love this feature when I’m browsing the web. If I’m narrowing down my search for something, I make a habit of checking the reviews listed. Of course, I don’t believe everything I read, but if similar comments are made by several people, I tend to trust them. After all, why would they take the time out of their busy day to even make the comment?
At first, we were concerned that it would take some time to gather reviews – after all, we offer thousands of personalized gifts! But we were pleasantly surprised to see how quickly customers submitted their feedback, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Of course, we believe every gift we sell is high-quality and that our service is wonderful, but all that really matters is what our customers think. The overwhelming response has been very positive so far, and we are using any negative comments as a way to learn and improve.
One of our highest rated Personalized Photo Frames!
We hope that PersonalizationMall.com is one of your “favorite” places to shop for personalized gifts! And we can’t wait to hear from you! After your next purchase, please take a moment to let us know how we did. We strive to exceed your expectations each and every time! But you need to keep us on our toes if we don’t! Happy Shopping!
We all live extremely busy lives, racing from home to work, then back again, while we squeeze in our endless “to do” list in between! That leaves little time for just doing nothing. But it’s important to just do nothing, and it’s even more important to do nothing with those you love! Whether it’s your significant other, your child, or your mom, spending time with those you love is the more precious gift you can give them!
With Sweetest Day around the corner, take a moment to do something nice for someone you love. Write a note on the bathroom mirror – either through the steam or even with lipstick! Slip a small note into your child’s lunch the Friday before. Leave a chocolate kiss on someone’s pillowcase. (I can’t do this one, since my beagle would enjoy it instead!) Give everyone an extra hug on their way out the door… and really mean it!
We offer great personalized gift ideas to express your love this Sweetest Day. From playful to sentimental, our gifts are much more personal than candy or flowers. One of our most popular is our personalized Because of You Wood Photo Frame, engraved with your two first names, and your very own sentiment!

But it’s not the gift that counts. It’s the thought! Remember to say I love you whenever you can. What better way to start or end your day? Happy Sweetest Day!
It’s that time of year again… time for the very important decision…
What should I be for Halloween?
My two daughters have been combing all the mail order catalogs, flagging page after page. And with each new catalog, the decision changes. (I learned that lesson when I made their costume purchases TOO early one year!) By the time they arrived, they were no longer “cool.”
One year, I tried to get our pooch to dress up too. He was going to be “Dog-ula” with cape and all. Well, Winston had other plans, and quickly wiggled his way out of the dreaded costume. We reached a compromise with our popular, personalized Howl-oween Dog Bandana. He gets to be comfortable, while still joining in the spirit of the holiday!
Be sure to check out our adorable personalized Treat Bags for the younger boys and ghouls. (The older ones will enjoy the personalized pillowcase/treat bag!) And whatever they decide on, bring along the camera as you trick-or-treat. The photos are priceless, and they love looking back later to see how silly they were!
I love decorating the house for Halloween too. Every year, we carefully select a few real pumpkins to display outside, and every year, our neighborhood squirrels enjoy devouring them! I’ve trying everything to keep them away – cayenne pepper, kitchen cleaner, but these must be industrial-strength squirrels! This year, however, we offer the perfect solution -- our new personalized Pumpkins, crafted of resin! Sure to fool any squirrel! And no messy carving either, with pumpkin goo all over the kitchen! Just what the non-crafty person, like me, loves! Happy Haunting!
One of the most important gifts you give your child is their name. The process of choosing a baby name should not be taken lightly – after all. a child’s name can make or break them on the school playground!
For some parents, there’s a simple solution – a name is selected to carry on a family tradition or to honor a relative, like a grandparent.
For others, they want a name that is trendy and popular, such as Jacob, which has been the most popular baby boy name for 10 years in a row!
Still other parents feel that there’s something to be said about having a name that is, well, unpopular. It’s unique. It’s cool. Not just another Tom, Dick, Harry… or Jacob!
Where does your baby’s name rank? Below is the listing from the U.S. Social Security Administration which came out this May, ranking the top baby names for 2008:
- Boys: 1. Jacob Girls: 1. Emma
- 2. Michael 2. Isabella
- 3. Ethan 3. Emily
- 4. Joshua 4. Madison
- 5. Daniel 5. Ava
- 6. Alexander 6. Olivia
- 7. Anthony 7. Sophia
- 8. William 8. Abigail
- 9. Christopher 9.Elizabeth
- 10. Matthew 10. Chloe
-
At PersonalizationMall.com, names are our business! And we’ve seen them all, from popular to very unique. Regardless of what name you give your baby, or how you spell it, you can fill their world with personalized gifts!
-
Our most popular baby gift is our personalized New Arrival Photo Frame, showcasing all the important details of baby’s birth, including their new name.

So whatever name you decide on for your pride and joy, take pride in it, and show it off with personalized gifts! Happy Name Hunting!
Ice Cream. Trips to the park. Storytime. These are just some of the many ways grandparents spoil their grandkids. It’s a wonderful bond, and it means a great deal to both the grown-up and the child.
My mother-in-law lives right down the street, and my three children have a great relationship with her. She loves spending time with them, and she makes each one feel special. Unfortunately, their other grandparents passed away before they even knew them. But filling that void is our incredible neighbor, Bob. He is 80 years old, and lives across the street from us. Since he is retired, he has plenty of time on his hands, and loves to spend it with all the children on the block. If he’s not playing a game of catch, he’s cheering the kids on at their ball game. And he always surprises the little ones with a cookie or two. Somehow he remembers the birthday of every child on the block and shows up with a special treat for them. He is definitely my kids’ (and many others) “adopted” grandpa!
Sunday, September 13 is National Grandparent’s Day. It’s the perfect opportunity to “spoil” your grandma or grandpa and let them know just how “grand” they really are! Turn a favorite photo into a Photo Canvas Print to proudly display in their home. Or warm their hearts with a personalized coffee mug listing the names of all their grandchildren.

We offer many personalized gifts to make the day especially “grand!”
As college students move out of their homes to their freshman year dorm room, many face the same dilemma: trying to cram all their stuff in their parent’s car! Most bring way too much stuff! But there are a few necessities which should not be overlooked:
1. A telephone. These days, most college students skip the land line and just use a cell phone. This can also function as their alarm clock, calendar, and planner too. Shop around for the cheapest plan or be nice to your parents, so they’ll keep you on theirs.
2. A computer. Most students opt for a laptop, since it’s easy to transport and doesn’t take up much space. And don’t forget a back-up system – either a Zip drive, memory stick, CD/DVD writer or even a plain old floppy drive.
3. A shower caddy – to carry your stuff to the shower. You no longer have the luxury of stock-piling your shower gels and shampoo on the bathtub ledge. We offer a trendy personalized shower caddy for girls, with matching bath towel. And don’t forget flip-flops – you don’t want to be barefoot in that dorm room shower!

4. Cleaning supplies, for your clothes, as well as your room. Laundry detergent,a roll of quarters, and a laundry bag, as well as a small broom, dustpan, dust rags and Windex should work.
5. Memories from home! Chances are that your new room isn’t the fanciest. Most dorms tend to have an institutional feel. Create a cozy feel with our personalized photo products. Our new photo wall calendar lets you keep track of your days with friendly faces.
These also make great gifts for your freshmen after they’ve been away for a while. Their mailbox can be a very lonely place, so a surprise package from home is sure to be welcomed!
Happy Moving Day!
Before you know it, the kids will be back in school, the days will be getting shorter, and summer will be coming to a close. Enjoy one last hurrah while you can! Take the kids fishing, or just spend the day relaxing at the beach. Invite friends over for margaritas. Soak up the sun one more time!
My daughter starts a new school in the Fall, and one of the classroom parents is hosting a BBQ. This is a great way for the kids and the parents to get to know each other. I’ll need to bring some type of hostess gift, but what? Our personalized beverage huggies are always a hit at parties! And they’re great for everything from soda pop to beer. Or I can make a pasta or fruit salad and bring it to the party in our personalized serving bowl (with the hostess’ name of course!) She’ll enjoy using it long after the party!

Put down that school supply list, and head outdoors for one last day of fun in the sun! Enjoy!
Good news for parents! Bad news for kids! It’s back-to-school time again! Yes, those glorious, lazy days of summer are coming to a close. Much to the dismay of school aged children everywhere, the stores are already filled with folders and loose leaf paper!
I remember the beginning of every new school year – I vowed to be neat and organized. Oh, how I enjoyed making all the new selections of markers, binders, and all the other necessary school supplies on the list. I would neatly label everything, and have it all ready to go WAY in advance of the first day. The shoes for the first day of school were also new, and carefully selected. (Since I attended private school with uniforms, the outfit was of little importance.) Our fun, new personalized labels help kids identify their books and other belongings.

Some kids feel nervous or a little scared on the first day of school because of all the new things: new teachers, new friends, and maybe even a new school. Luckily, these “worries” only stick around for a little while. And having some cool, new gear can help ease the transition. We offer a wide selection of personalized backpacks and lunch totes, for the younger crowd, as well as junior high. Embroidered with their first name, initials, or last name, each makes a statement about personal style.
Like many other families, we’re watching our spending, and that includes the traditional summer vacation. But just because we are not jetting off to a resort doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy ourselves. In fact, as a parent, I find our “staycation” more relaxing than going away, especially with a 5-year old who insists she no longer needs a nap! And with teenagers who prefer to be with their friends, it works out better for everyone! Here are some tips for a successful staycation:
1. Schedule start and end dates. Just like your vacation, plan a beginning and ending to make it feel official.
2. Pack that time with activities. Let everyone vote on what they want to do. Invite neighbors and friends over for a backyard BBQ. Our next door neighbors host an annual outdoor movie night, complete with blankets, popcorn, and a movie under the stars. Don’t forget the beverages! Our personalized party tub works well for everything from juice boxes to soda to beer.
3. Declare a “choratorium.” That means no chores! Don’t make the beds, vacuum, or pull weeds – nothing. You’re on vacation!
4. Take staycation photos. Just as you would if you went away from home! Share them with me, too!
Happy Summer!
